Robbie Fowler In The Dark

Robbie Fowler concedes he is in the dark regarding his long-term future at Liverpool.
The Anfield hero rejoined Liverpool in January from Manchester City and is under contract until the end of the season.
He is pressing his claims for a deal for next term and has scored four goals in his last five appearances, including netting in his last three outings.
Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have both expressed an interest in the 31-year-old, who proved he retains his predatory instincts by being Liverpool's match-winner against both his suitors over the past week.
After grabbing the only goal against Blackburn on Sunday, Fowler admits he is unsure whether Reds boss Rafa Benitez wants to keep him.
"People keep on asking me, but I'm as much in the dark as everyone else - and all I can do is score goals," Fowler told Sky Sports.
In addition to scoring goals, Fowler is also trying to prove his fitness to Benitez and the ex-England international is unsure if his manager has been impressed by his condition.
"I've not finished that many games," he added. "But it's the manager's prerogative.
"He's got a decision to make and if he doesn't think I'm fit enough it's up to him."
Benitez is happy to wait until the campaign draws to a close before making a decision, but is giving Fowler every chance to show he merits a contract extension.
